The work was my design school
Hiring still quietly scores school logos. RISD. Parsons. Stanford. If your path does not match, the filter can close before anyone reads what you actually built.
I am Fine Arts trained - G.D. Art, Drawing & Painting, five full-time years under Mumbai University's Directorate of Art. That is not a consolation degree. It is where taste, visual judgment, and human nuance were drilled before product titles existed in my vocabulary.
HFI CXA and CUA came later as professional rigor. Visiting faculty at BMN and Somaiya came later still - I teach Design Thinking, research, and trends. The school-judgment dynamic flips when you are the one in the room shaping the next cohort.
The graduate program was the work.
SnapWork fintech - money movement, trust, and regulated complexity. Infosys Design Labs - coaching 100+ designers, scaling practice economics toward about $2M quarterly design revenue. IndiGo - 300K+ daily users, DesignOps that improved delivery turnaround by about 250%, Marketplace Design System in roughly four weeks with six designers.
Those numbers are confirmed in my materials. I will not invent more to sound louder. Leadership is earned scope: operating models, C-suite evidence, AI with human review gates - DRx in Cursor as governed creative automation, not vibe coding theater.
Pedigree networks come with alumni lists. Craft-origin leaders manufacture reputation with outcomes, writing, and teaching. If you hire for Head of Design or Practice Lead, ask what I built - not which logo sat on a diploma.
Fine Arts first. Systems second. Business always. The work was my design school.
