Culture that scaled the design business
Built the delivery culture first - standardised process, coaching, and owned capacity & utilisation (typically ≥75%, up to ~95%) - so the BU could grow to ~$2M/quarter with project-ready talent.

The thesis
Culture first. Revenue followed.
At Infosys UID labs, the job was never screens alone — it was setting delivery process, mentoring a high-performing team, building the design business, and owning capacity & utilisation (typically at least ~75%, sometimes up to ~95%). Entrepreneurial instincts went into positive culture, practices, and mentoring so utilisation and pipeline could hold under growth.
01
One delivery standard across studios
Standardised UX delivery across 5 design studios in India in 4 weeks - mandatory practices for BU deliveries, with checkers mapping to break siloed work.
02
Capacity and utilisation owned
Responsible for lab capacity and utilisation — typically at least ~75%, sometimes stretching to ~95% — so growth did not collapse delivery quality.
03
Coaching culture, not a ticket queue
Designed bootcamp syllabus and training for campus recruits so new joiners landed project-ready. Ran design training for IJP talents from tech backgrounds to close the skill gap.
04
Pipeline as culture
Spearheaded UX proposals for the next delivery pipeline. University connections helped bring strong talent into the labs.
Studio life
Coaching culture on the floor
Pune and Chennai labs — workshops, reviews, and the everyday rhythm that turned campus recruits and IJP talent into project-ready designers.

Hands-on with the business
